"Wow. Das ist endlich mal wieder eine wirkliche Entdeckung. Eine brasilianische Gitarristin (Laura L), die in Berlin eine trommelnde Landsfrau (Marie Leão) kennenlernte, mit dieser ein Bandprojekt entwickelte und dann erstmal spielte, spielte, spielte. “II” ist – wenig überraschend – die 2. Platte der Kapelle, die eine tatsächlich ganz wundervolle und (soweit in postpostmodernen Zeiten überhaupt möglich) auch neuartige Mischung aus Krautrock, PostPunk und PostRock realisiert. Man darf sich das durchaus als freundlichen Bastard aus Neu!, Durutti Column und Tortoise vorstellen: ein klar akzentuiertes Schlagzeug, ein bedrohlicher Früh-80er-Bass und kontrolliert-experimentelle, verhalten-psychedelische Gitarrenarbeit. Nochmal: Wow." *****
